Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu: Men are Meant to be Shared

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has expressed her support for polygamy, asserting that some men should be shared among women.

During a discussion with bloggers, Nyamu argued that not all men are suited for monogamous relationships.

“Why monopolize a good man all to yourself? Some men are meant to be shared, and that is why I strongly support polygamy,” she stated.

Discussing her relationship with Mugithi artist Samidoh, Karen acknowledged that their journey has been fraught with challenges, including instances of unfollowing each other on social media.

“We’ve unfollowed each other multiple times, but that doesn’t hold significant weight for us,” she noted.

The couple, who have two children together, have faced considerable public scrutiny, especially after Samidoh’s wife moved to the United States with their three children.

Recently, Karen Nyamu played a significant role in rallying Members of Parliament to contribute funds for Samidoh during the inauguration of his foundation at Parklands Sports Club. In her speech, she emphasized Samidoh’s dedication to charitable causes and assured that the funds raised would be used for benevolent purposes.

“I am a witness to the passion he has for giving, and he usually does it quietly. I am surprised he has videos of him giving. He is a giver and can give away everything he has. Your contributions will go to a good cause. We invited many from our senate, and some have sent me, including the speaker,” Nyamu said.
