“Nisaidieni! wakenya” Magix Enga Begs For Financial Support To Raise His Month Old Baby Boy

Magix Enga, a renowned music producer, who once enjoyed the limelight in the Kenyan music industry, has now reached out to the Kenyan public for assistance in meeting his basic needs. Like many Kenyans grappling with the ongoing economic downturn, Magix Enga has found himself in financial distress.

Taking to his Instagram page, Magix Enga candidly shared his current hardships, highlighting the pressing need for support to provide for his one-month-old son. Despite being celebrated as one of Africa’s and the world’s most talented beat makers, he has encountered financial difficulties and believes that some of the artists he collaborated with took advantage of his exceptional skills.

Magix Enga pointed to several hit songs he produced, including “Dundaing,” “Watoto na Pombe” by Otile Brown featuring Enga, and “Maja” by Mapenzi Hisia, among others. Despite the popularity of these tracks, he has not reaped any substantial benefits from them.

His situation took a turn for the worse when he became a father to a one-month-old baby boy, who now relies on him for support. Unfortunately, his quest for financial stability faced a major setback when the studio where he worked had to close due to rent-related issues.

Magix Enga went on to recount instances where his work achieved tremendous success but did not translate into financial gain. Songs like “Mamiondoko,” which played a significant role in the Gengetone movement, and “Digidigi” by Arrow Boy, which garnered over 10 million views, failed to generate income for the producer.

Currently, Magix Enga finds himself without a reliable source of income, which makes it even more challenging to support his growing family. In a heartfelt plea for assistance, he singled out Kenya’s Deputy President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, calling on him not only to aid him but also to extend support to others in the music industry who are grappling with similar challenges.

He stressed the importance of this support, particularly during these challenging times when the creative sector has been severely impacted by the ongoing economic difficulties. Magix Enga also provided his contact number (0704872170) in the appeal, expressing his readiness to receive any form of assistance from those willing to help.
