”Nimerogwa! I’m Broke and Famous , Nateseka Sana , Mnisaidie” Former Inspector Mwala Actor Begs For Help .

During an interview on 2mbili Tv, Tony expressed his harrowing experiences within the acting industry. His aspirations of achieving stardom in the Kenyan acting scene were met with immense challenges, leaving him disheartened and grappling with financial difficulties.

Tony recounted his journey, explaining that following his departure from Inspector Mwala, where he wasn’t receiving a substantial salary, he joined Ebru Tv and secured a role in the Kortini show, portraying the character of a DCI. He held high hopes that this opportunity would be transformative, but unfortunately, circumstances took an unfavorable turn.

During his tenure at Ebru Tv, Tony’s monthly earnings amounted to a mere ksh.2000. It’s worth considering that he was compensated ksh.500 for each episode he participated in. This meager income proved inadequate to cover even his basic expenses. He resided in a house located in Kangemi, which demanded a monthly rent of ksh.3000, rendering his salary insufficient to meet this obligation. Consequently, he found himself living beyond his means.

The demands of his work were physically and emotionally draining, while the financial compensations were utterly disheartening. Faced with this predicament, Tony eventually made the difficult decision to step away from acting at the outset of 2023. His life has since been marked by ongoing struggles, as he endeavors to navigate each day amidst the challenging economic conditions prevailing in Kenya.

In a heartfelt appeal, Tony beseeches well-intentioned Kenyans to extend their support. He is receptive to any form of employment or assistance that may be offered to him. In the face of adversity, Tony remains resilient, determined to forge ahead and persevere within the confines of the current Kenyan economy.
