“Nilitoa Carol Sonnie Kando Ya Barabara Akiuza Chipo Mwitu”,Mulamwah Says

Mulamwah made an appearance on Dr. Ofweneke’s YouTube show, shedding light on his past relationship with his ex-partner, Carol Sonnie, which ended in 2021.

During the interview, Ofweneke inquired about the reason behind the breakup, to which Mulamwah responded, “There was a recurring issue. Something had happened before, and each time I observed it in someone, it bothered me. I felt it was better not to continue and ruin the story. So, I decided to end it (the relationship) immediately. I took full responsibility for everything and settled all the medical bills for the mother and child.”

Mulamwah hinted that the catalyst for Sonnie’s behavior was related to his spending habits. He clarified, “I haven’t been stingy. If you have the money, spend it. We are people who came to Nairobi by bus, with the plan to hustle for 2 or 3 years and then return. So, it’s crucial to remember where you came from.”

He continued, “Living in a Ksh 9,000 house doesn’t mean I don’t have money. I have over a million, but it doesn’t make sense when you ask me to spend Ksh 8,000 on a night out, while we also pay Ksh 2,000 monthly to someone taking care of our cows. I come from a place where money is valued; Ksh 1,000 can sustain my grandma for two weeks. You can’t persuade me to spend 10-15k a night without being accountable for it.”

Mulamwah emphasized that the disagreement stemmed from his stance on extravagant spending. Sonnie, in response, sought someone else who could fulfill her desires.

“That was the problem. These ladies have certain preferences, and if they can’t find it here, they will seek it elsewhere. That was our only issue. When I realized that ‘this’ and ‘this’ were happening, I decided to end it for my peace,” Mulamwah concluded, reiterating that their main problem originated from differing views on spending.
