Renowned comedian and content creator, 2Mbili, recently addressed the widespread speculations surrounding him and the emerging gengetone artist, Ngesh Kaveve Kazoze, allegedly being involved in a clandestine affair. Rumors have circulated that the two are keeping something under wraps.
In an exclusive interview with Trudy Kitui, 2Mbili remained unapologetic in the face of criticism directed at him. He asserted that he had nothing to conceal and refuted claims that he exploited Ngesh Kaveve Kazoze for personal gain. According to him, he invested nearly Ksh.10,000 to travel to Naivasha, conduct an interview with her, and secure brand deals on her behalf.
2Mbili explained that his motive was to promote Ngesh and provide her with a platform for greater visibility. He highlighted the viral success of her song and the Spider Gang, emphasizing his efforts to contribute to her recognition in the industry.
Regarding the allegations of a romantic involvement with Ngesh, 2Mbili neither confirmed nor denied the claims. He emphasized that Ngesh is above 18 years old and stressed that any potential intimacy between them would be consensual. In his perspective, as two consenting adults, their choices in the realm of personal relationships are their own.
The comedian asserted that if any romantic involvement did occur, people should refrain from judgment, emphasizing that Ngesh is an adult capable of making her own decisions, as long as everything adheres to legal boundaries.
Addressing accusations of exploiting the situation for views, 2Mbili dismissed such claims. He pointed out that the YouTube interview with Ngesh generated less than Ksh.1000 in revenue, while his expenses in facilitating her involvement exceeded Ksh.10,000. 2Mbili maintained that his actions were driven by genuine intentions to assist Ngesh in building her brand and enhancing her relevance in the music industry.
