Furious Sifuna reacts to 11Billion stolen from SHA-We do not have a country here buana,Ruto must go na sio tafadhali!

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has issued a scathing response following reports that Sh11 billion was allegedly lost at the Social Health Authority (SHA), terming the situation a clear sign of failed leadership and state capture.

In an angry statement, Sifuna said the scandal exposes deep-rooted corruption within government institutions, arguing that public resources are being looted with impunity while ordinary Kenyans continue to suffer.

“We do not have a country here, buana,” Sifuna remarked, expressing frustration over what he described as normalized theft of public funds.

The outspoken ODM secretary general further laid blame on President William Ruto’s administration, saying the continued loss of billions shows a lack of political will to fight corruption.

“Ruto must go — and not politely,” Sifuna declared, signalling growing opposition anger and public discontent over governance and accountability.

The alleged Sh11 billion loss at SHA has sparked widespread outrage, with Kenyans demanding explanations, prosecutions, and reforms within the health sector. Critics argue that scandals of such magnitude undermine public trust and cripple essential services meant to benefit citizens.

Sifuna’s remarks add to mounting pressure on the government as calls for transparency, resignations, and systemic change grow louder.
