Popular Kenyan content creator Azziad Nasenya has addressed a trending audio clip that allegedly features her requesting money while in Nigeria.
In a short video shared online, Azziad responded subtly but confidently. She appeared unfazed by the situation, using her signature wit and charisma to brush off the rumours.
“Whatever you hear or see, believe it. I’m busy working on my stuff and have no time to explain anything. Don’t ask me—just enjoy life!” she said with a smile.
Her reaction sparked varied responses on social media. Some fans applauded her calm approach, while others speculated about what might be happening behind the scenes.
One user commented, “She can choose to speak out if she wants to. Social media is where people learn life lessons.”
Another added, “Her facial expressions say more than her words. She seems stressed but won’t admit it.”
The audio that surfaced online features a female voice pleading for Sh85,000, reportedly to sort out urgent expenses in Nigeria, including hair styling services. The speaker also mentions a pending debt and promises to repay the requested amount by Monday.
This isn’t the first time Azziad has found herself linked to borrowing claims. Earlier in the year, content creators Mary Musyoka and Hannah Benta claimed she delayed repaying personal loans.
In one widely shared voice note, allegedly attributed to Azziad, she reportedly asked for Sh300,000, assuring that it would be repaid within a few days. According to Mary, the amount was eventually returned, and she even posted a celebratory TikTok dance with the caption, “My money is back, guys. Kumbe kelele husaidia!”
Azziad has yet to issue a detailed statement regarding the latest audio, but her brief video message seems to reflect her desire to move forward and stay focused on her work.
