Famous Kikuyu musician Karangu Muraya has addressed the ongoing criticisms regarding his personal life. Recently, he has faced accusations of neglecting his family and distancing himself from his two wives.
In a statement shared through his social media platforms, Karangu Muraya strongly refuted these allegations, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to his family. The Akorino artist assured his followers that he would continue to support, love, and care for his wives and children.
Additionally, the philanthropist praised his wives for their steadfast support throughout all challenges and vowed to repay their loyalty by always providing for, protecting, and loving them.
Karangu Muraya also took a stand against his critics, urging them to voice their grievances within the bounds of the law. He further stated, “Since you’ve chosen to target me at my lowest, let me set the record straight… these are the special people who have supported me wholeheartedly in all seasons. I will always protect, care for, and provide for them and our children. If you must criticize or troll me, do so within the law.”
In 2024, Karangu was accused of neglecting his senior wife, Teresia Wainaina, and their children. He swiftly denied these claims, asserting that he has always been there for his family. Despite his defense, doubts about his commitment to his family continue to persist among netizens.
