” Nateseka Sana” Sailors Gang Member Shalkido Begs Eric Omondi & Kenyans For Financial Help

One of the most talented gengetone artists, Shalkido, formerly of the popular group Sailors Gang, is now facing tough times after the collapse of the gengetone wave.

Shalkido currently lives in a single-room house with no bed, sleeping on the floor, despite being a father of one. He has revealed that he is broke and has resorted to seeking financial help from Kenyans through comedian Eric Omondi’s Sisi kwa Sisi platform.

Speaking about his situation, the artist admitted that he has tried various hustles, but nothing has worked out. He is now appealing for goodwill contributions to enable him to buy a motorbike and start a small business to support his family.

“Life has been very tough. I just need something small to keep me going. If I can get a motorbike, I’ll be able to provide for my child and move forward,” Shalkido said.

Despite having songs on YouTube that boast millions of views, the split of Sailors Gang left its members financially crippled due to unfavorable deals they had signed at the height of their fame. Sadly, many of them are still struggling, with some turning to substance abuse as life gets harder.
