Nanny Rosie’s Lebanese Boss Changes Tune, Tells Her Not To Go Back to Work

The Lebanese employer, who gained fame alongside Kenyan nanny Rosie in a viral video, has experienced a significant shift in perspective. Initially, the employer was eager for Rosie to return to Lebanon, but there has been a change, and now she advocates for Rosie to stay in Kenya for better opportunities.

Expressing her sentiments sincerely, the employer, previously featured on the TikTok account @maria.cataleya, openly discussed Rosie’s current situation. Although the employer initially desired Rosie’s return to Lebanon, she now finds immense joy in the idea of Rosie spending quality time with her children in Kenya.

In an emotional statement, the employer confessed, “Of course, I hope she will come back. But I don’t think so. I don’t want her to come back. I want her to enjoy her time with her kids and maybe stay with them.”

The employer further revealed her preference for Rosie to extend her stay in Kenya, emphasizing, “If I were her, I would stay in Kenya with my kids. I would never come back to Lebanon.”

Speculating about Rosie’s future, the employer asserted that the viral video could open doors to better opportunities beyond Lebanon. She confidently stated, “I am pretty sure after this viral video, she will be able to get better opportunities than to come back to Lebanon.”

In a unique analogy, the employer compared Rosie’s situation to the biblical figure Prophet Yousaf, highlighting the contrast between undesired circumstances and ultimate triumph. She explained, “It’s like Prophet Yousaf. They wanted him to be a slave, they bought him, and then God granted him to be their king.”

Concluding her message to Rosie, the employer expressed pride and touched upon the positive impact she believes she has had in contributing to Rosie’s newfound recognition. She added, “I feel really proud and touched that I was able to help Rosie reach what she did reach, to go viral and be appreciated and to be with her kids. So guys, please don’t understand me wrong. I wish Rosie all the best.”
