Pragya and Abhi’s life takes a shocking turn as they lose their daughter Kiara. Nikhil, who had kidnapped their daughter during Pragya’s baby shower; drowns in the river along with Kiara. During the kidnapping track, Pragya was blessed with beautiful twins.
After losing Kiara, another journey is about to begin as the show takes a 20-year leap and introduces viewers to the next generation of the Mehras – Abhi-Pragya’s twin daughters. News had it that Naina Singh and Mugdha Chaphekar have been roped in to play the twins.
Now, the track will focus on Abhi, Pragya and their young college-going daughters. Essaying the role of Prachi will be actor Mugdha Chaphekar and on the other hand, Naina Singh has been roped in to play the role of Rhea.
Rhea and Prachi are two strong personalities who are complete opposites of each other. Prachi is a complete replica of Pragya in terms of her simplicity, practicality and sensitivity. However, Rhea will be shown as the one born in the lap of luxury making her a spoilt, pampered over-entitled daughter of a successful rockstar – Abhi.
Speaking about being a part of the show, Mugdha said, “Prachi’s character is of a simple girl who is sensitive and responsible much like her mother and puts her family before everything. I hope that the audience enjoys the new twist.”
Reality TV show Splitsvilla 10 winner Naina says, “This is the first time I am foraying into fiction television and I am excited. I am also in a frenzy as it’s completely a new space for me. Naina is a complete brat born with a silver spoon. The story ahead will be filled with many twists and turns, and drama and I am looking forward to it.”
