Mum Of Boy Who Scored A- In 2014 KCSE Meets Him, Says Son Took Sh50k Mobile Loan

A mother of a boy who scored A- in the 2014 KCSE has met with him.

Brian Kamau, a second-year dropout at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and technology had been staying in a bush after he differed with his mum.

Kamau’s mum revealed that her son had taken mobile loans worth KSh 50,000 which she has not settle todate.

Brian Kamau, a former student at Nanyuki High School garnered an A- in the 2014 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and was admitted at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

The woman was all smiles after reuniting with her son who had she said had stayed at the bush by himself for years.

However, in his second year, Kamau got in drug and substance abuse which made him drop out of the university.

“Kamau has always a good boy. He was a quiet boy and loves music. He changed while at the University due to bad company influence from his peers. My son got involved into drug and substances abuse and became an addict,” Kamau’s mum said.

Kamau’s dad who had been staying with his son in his home in Nanyuki said he had no issue as well with anyone who wanted to assist their son. He said he was struggling to see Kamau got the best in his education.
