A Kajiado family is in agony after their six weeks baby was stolen in a hospital by an alleged nurse.
According to a report shared by Citizen TV, a smartly dressed lady was captured on CCTV cameras entering the hospital and sat in a corner observing her prey.
The mother to the infant identified as Diana, was unknowingly lured to the trap by the suspect.
In the footage, the fake nurse was left with the infant by the mother and few minutes later walked out of the hospital with the child as if it were hers.
Cases of children mysteriously disappearing have been on the rise across the country.
According to a survey done by GEMA Production, 20 children between the age of 1week-10 years have been reported missing from the months of July and August, 2021.
Additionally, a number have been found dead with some getting reunited with their family.DCI sleuthes have asked Kenyans to be on the lookout and report any suspicious activities and persons to their respective offices.
