Molo Woman Storms Church Wedding to Stop Husband from Marrying Their Househelp

A woman who identified herself as the groom’s initial spouse created a tumultuous scene at the vibrant wedding ceremony, expressing her anger and disappointment over his decision to marry another woman.

Rose Ongachi asserted her status as the groom’s first wife, passionately admonishing him for forsaking her and their shared responsibilities, particularly in providing for their children’s education. According to her, their financial constraints hindered their children’s ability to complete their studies.

In a video captured by Inooro FM, the distressed woman recounted her history with the groom, revealing that she had extended support to him during their time together. She recounted providing him with various forms of assistance, even purchasing clothes for him. She expressed her bewilderment at his abandonment of their relationship in favor of a new partner.

“I have spent 22 years by his side, and our relationship has been marred by conflicts largely due to this very woman. I welcomed him into my life with open arms, even helping him with clothes, only to be left behind with our children. I trust in divine intervention and will strive to provide for my children,” she shared with Inooro FM.

The commotion unfolded shortly after the groom and bride had commenced their ceremonial walk down the aisle. The woman stormed the venue, sparking a heated confrontation that led to an emotionally charged exchange between her and the astonished groom.

“I have stood by her for 22 years. She came seeking employment, and I offered her a place in my home as a domestic helper. Out of kindness, I contributed Ksh1,000 to help her purchase clothes,” a visibly incensed RO addressed the press.

“While I went to work, I entrusted her with household chores. Unfortunately, my husband has now shirked his responsibilities, but I have faith that divine providence will watch over my children. All I desire is the well-being of my children,” she added.

The altercation attracted the attention of local police officers from Nakuru, who swiftly intervened to restore order and prevent the aggrieved wife from further disrupting the event. Once the tension subsided, the groom and bride proceeded with their wedding festivities, despite the disapproval of the groom’s first wife.
