Sarah Kabu, the former Managing Director of Bonfire Adventures, has publicly sought forgiveness from women after admitting she misadvised them regarding unhealthy marriages.
In a viral clip, Sarah confessed to misleading women in toxic relationships, despite being a victim herself. She revealed that she had endured years in an unhealthy marriage while encouraging other women to tolerate similar situations.
After ending her marriage and declaring herself single, Sarah expressed her enduring belief in the institution of marriage. “I still believe in marriage. Though I’m not ready for it now, I believe one day I’ll be back on the market and might even remarry,” she said, adding that marriage is a divine commitment but not for the faint-hearted.
“Marriage is something ordained by God,” she emphasized, “but it requires immense resilience.”
In her heartfelt apology, Sarah acknowledged that her past advice had been misguided. She admitted to encouraging women to stay in infidelity-ridden marriages or embrace polygamy, unaware of the emotional toll these relationships were causing.
“I sincerely apologize to women for advising them to remain in marriages with infidelity. Please forgive me. If things are not working out, it’s better to leave early while you’re still alive,” she urged.
Her apology followed a publicized drama involving her estranged husband, Simon Kabu. Sarah was accused of assaulting her former nanny, an incident reportedly linked to Simon’s alleged infidelity, which had strained their marriage.
Sarah concluded by encouraging women to prioritize their well-being, saying, “If a marriage isn’t working, it’s okay to walk away.”
