injuries after armed
militia attacked Mandera Governor Ali Roba’s convoy along the Arabia- Omar Jilo road in Mandera County. One of the vehicles in the Governor’s convoy was burnt by the militia. The burnt car was among the two vehicles carrying a
group of elders and police officers.
The Friday morning attack is believed to have been well planned by the Al Shabaab militia.
This is the fourth attempt on the Governor’s life.
