Renowned content creator and social media influencer Kabi Wa Jesus recently re-entered the music scene after a prolonged hiatus.
More than a decade ago, Kabi debuted with his first single, a track aimed at silencing his detractors. Subsequently, he gained widespread recognition with the release of the viral hit “Bonoko” and other tracks. However, his activity in the music industry had dwindled over time.
In the middle of this week, Kabi surprised fans by dropping a new song titled “Aki Love.” This musical endeavor is a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Milly Wa Jesus. At the onset of the track, Kabi shares with Milly that he has discovered a novel way of expressing his love for her.
In his own words, Kabi says, “There are numerous ways to express love, and I’ve found a unique way to convey to you that I love you. I know this is unconventional, something surprising for our audience. I hope you’ll embrace it. You’ll appreciate the genre,” as he makes this promise to his wife and the mother of his three children.
The lyrics of the song are laden with praise for Milly’s appearance and admirable qualities. Kabi fondly recalls their journey from friendship to the blossoming of their love.
After Milly listens to the song, she shares her enthusiasm, saying, “Oh My God, I love it. Thank you.”
The release of the song elicited diverse reactions from fans. While some found it unconventional and expressed disapproval, others encouraged Kabi to stick to content creation, asserting that it aligns better with his strengths.
In response to one critic, Kabi defended his musical venture, highlighting the additional view contributed by the individual. “Wewe ni Malenge sana, did you know by watching you added a view,” he retorted, demonstrating a resilient attitude in the face of criticism.
