Lydia Kemunto is a 33-year-old mother of two who is defying all odds as a mechanic. Despite facing challenges such as discrimination and lack of support from her colleagues, Kemunto persevered and eventually worked her way up to becoming a lead mechanic.
Today, Kemunto is the proud owner of her own garage, which serves as a beacon of hope for young girls in her community. She has become a role model for young girls who aspire to pursue careers in male-dominated fields and has inspired countless others to follow their dreams. Kemunto is also a vocal advocate for women’s rights and encourages other women to pursue their passions and break barriers.
