A demand letter from Nicah’s legal representatives claimed that Emma’s actions intentionally hurt Nicah’s reputation and were misinterpreted as suggesting that Nicah was a prostitute or unfaithful, damaging her image as a gospel artist. The demand letter required Emma to retract his statements and apologize for defamation within seven days.
