Khaligraph Jones Talks on Featuring in Kaveve kazoze

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has recently addressed claims about his involvement in the popular Gengetone song ‘Kaveve kazoze.’

During a live session with his fans, Khaligraph Jones clarified that he was not featured in the viral song and expressed confusion as to why people keep attributing a verse to him in the track.

“The viral song called Kaveve, that wasn’t me on the song, man. I don’t know why some people think it was me. Even when you come to Dubai, people ask you to sing Kaveve kazoze as if I was part of it. But let me set the record straight, my voice was not used in that song. It wasn’t me… It’s just a misunderstanding, I am not on that track.”

The popular song ‘Rieng Genje’ is widely recognized for its catchy lyrics like ‘Cash crop ya Nyandarua ni Mawaru’ and ‘Kaveve kazoze.’ The track is by Spider Clan, featuring the trending gengetone artist, Ngesh Bad Gal wa Vasha.

The song showcases a delightful blend of hip hop, dancehall, and afrobeat elements, resulting in a unique and vibrant sound that appeals to a diverse audience. The lyrics exhibit clever wit and humor, reflecting the group’s confidence and pride in their distinct style and culture.

Since the song’s viral success, the artists behind it have garnered recognition from various brands and even Kenyan politicians who have come forward to support and nurture their music careers.
