There have been rumors circulating among fans that all is not well between Kenyan content creator Kinuthia and his friend and videographer Sam Waweru after Kinuthia shared a cryptic post on social media. In the post, Kinuthia advised his followers not to trust everyone, including friends, and revealed that he is looking for a videographer.
On the other hand, Waweru also shared a post stating that people change when they no longer need help. He went on to say that some people were only friends because they saw each other frequently, and that “snakes eventually expose themselves.” Despite working together for some time, the two have unfollowed each other on social media.
During a previous interview with Mungai Eve, Waweru clarified that his relationship with Kinuthia is purely professional and friendly. He added that he has his own place and only visits Kinuthia’s house when they are shooting content. Despite the rumors and negativity surrounding their friendship, Waweru has no regrets about meeting Kinuthia and working with him, as it has helped him grow as a content creator.
“There are people who ask me if I have moved in with Kinuthia in his house and I am usually telling them I only visit when we are shooting content and that I have my own place, plus I am a very positive person therefore when people question my friendship with him, I just ignore the negativity.”
