The Murang’a County Senator is now over the moon after 5 legislators ditched Uhuru’s Kieleweke faction for DP Ruto’s hustle nation.
On Wednesday, June 23, five MPs allied to President Kenyatta led by Kiambu County Women Rep, Gathoni Wa Muchomba decamped to UDA, a party associated with Deputy President William Ruto.
This was followed by other leaders among them, Nakuru Town East MP, David Gikaria, Kabete MP, James Githua, Githunguri MP Gabriel Kago and Subukia MP, Samuel Gachobe joining the Hustler wagon.
Reacting to the huge defection, Kang’ata stated that he had warned Uhuru but the president did not listen.
“Your excellency, in my controversial January 2021 letter, I warned several things.”
“First, BBI is problematic- it came to pass with the court ruling. Second, there are lots of ” Komerera ” (double political agents) surrounding you.”
“It is now coming to pass,” Kang’ata tweeted.
