After Kamene Goro announced her marriage to DJ Bonez, Kenyans took to social media to offer their opinions. One comment,
which has since been deleted, suggested that Kamene will now have to get used to being the breadwinner and wearing the pants in her marriage.
This comment was surprising, given Kamene’s previous behavior on her former radio show, Kiss100, where she offered shallow advice to her listeners and referred to them as “baby girls.” Her current fans are pointing out the irony in her advice to not “settle for less,” while she appears to have done exactly that by getting married.
They suggest that her previous advice only kept her followers single and unhappy, while she has now found a partner.
