Kakamega Man Badly Humiliated After Being Found in the Act with Pastor’s Wife at Night

A 47-year-old resident of Murumba village in Lurambi Constituency, Kakamega County, found himself in a distressing situation when he was discovered in a compromising position with the wife of a local pastor one night.

According to the man, he and the pastor’s wife had a prior friendship, marked by a history that included a terminated pregnancy through an abortion. He recounted the incident, stating, “This girl used to be my friend. She called me, informing me that her husband was away, so I went to her place. Unfortunately, we were caught by neighbors, but she had already removed the pregnancy. She used to be my wife, but we separated.”

Following the incident, the man faced public humiliation as he was tied to a tree throughout the night, resembling a scene reminiscent of livestock treatment. The neighbors who apprehended him acted on behalf of an African divine pastor, whose wife was involved in the affair during a funeral the pastor attended.

The pastor’s father explained, “My son had gone to his sister-in-law’s funeral in Ingotse. When we discovered this man, he attempted to flee, but we caught him and tied him to a tree to prevent people from questioning him.”

Upon learning of the situation, Pastor Harrison Olumbe received a message from his son, alerting him that his wife was at home but not alone. Despite his disapproval of the incident, the pastor permitted his wife to return home. Subsequently, a reconciliation agreement was drafted. However, during the process, the pastor’s wife opted to escape through a maize field, leading to the release of the accused man to return home.
