Kenyan socialite Shakila Amin has expressed her disappointment upon discovering that comedian Eric Omondi has fathered a child with another woman. Known as the ‘Queen of the Streets’ for her straightforward nature, Shakila disclosed her displeasure upon learning about Eric Omondi’s newborn with his partner Lynne.
Shakila, who has openly declared her desire to be Eric Omondi’s baby mama, admitted to feeling hurt and unhappy upon hearing the news. Despite maintaining a friendship with Omondi and occasional communication, she found it difficult to extend congratulations due to her dissatisfaction.
In a candid revelation, Shakila accused Eric Omondi of exploiting her in November 2022, asserting that he used her to promote his shows without offering any compensation. She highlighted an incident during the filming of Omondi’s controversial “Wife Material” show in 2021, claiming that the comedian had refused to pay her and the other cast members for their participation.
Expressing her frustration during an Instagram Live session, Shakila lamented Omondi’s alleged bias in choosing the show’s winner and revealed that she adopted a dramatic approach to gain social media presence from the experience.
Despite previously claiming to be pregnant by Omondi and later admitting to seeking attention, Shakila did not hold back when addressing Eric Omondi’s purported support for local talents. She accused him of using people and challenged his claim of supporting artists while not compensating content creators.
In response to Shakila’s accusations, Eric Omondi strongly denied all claims during an interview with Milele FM. He emphasized that participants in the “Wife Material” show were not meant to receive payment, and he maintained a professional boundary with Shakila, denying any intimate involvement. Omondi confirmed compensating Shakila Ksh18,000 for her participation in another show named Divalicious, reiterating that the allegations against him were baseless.
