Inside Multimillion Private School In Ruiru Where Students Allegedly Pay Ksh1.1 Million Fees Per Term

Peponi School is a stunning, majestic, and cutting-edge facility. It is a private school on the Gicheha farm owned by the Kenyatta family in the town of Ruiru in the county of Kiambu.

To put it simply, the Kenyatta family, who also happen to be Kenya’s wealthiest, owns Peponi, one of the most costly schools in Kenya, to which the average Mwananchi can’t send their children.

Uhuru Kenyatta’s older sister, Kristina Pratt, is the school’s ex-patriate chairperson of the board of directors.

This school uses the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and provides students with a wider range of academic options and extracurricular opportunities than do most others in the country.

Boarding students pay sh1.1 million per term, or sh3.3 million per year, while day students pay sh731,510 per term.

If the fee is not paid by the fourteenth day of the term, the student will be sent home. Below are a few examples of its photography;
