Orange Democratic Movement Party (ODM) leader is expected to tour Murang’a County on 29th January in a bid to popularise his Azimio La Umoja in the vote rich county ahead of the August General Elections.
Odinga is expected to be in the company of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the much hyped tour to the Mountain Region which is considered as Uhuru’s bedroom.
Leaders from the region are expected to make a declaration in the tour among them being Member Of County Assembly, Mt Kenya Region Chair Charles Mwangi, better known as Ichagaki One.
The Ichagaki sitting MCA in an exclusive interview with us revealed that he will be vying for Maragua Parliamentary Seat under Azimio saying that it is the faction that will see more developments in the Mt Kenya Region.
Raila with the support of President Uhuru means that the mountain is behind him. Personally, I will accompany Odinga in all the meetings since I am part of Azimio,

The vocal MCA stated that Azimio opponents in Murang’a led by Kiharu MP are just misplacing their priorities in terms of Mt Kenya developments.
Charles will be seeking the Maragua MP seat which is currently occupied by Wamau.
