During an exclusive interview with 2 mbili TV on the celebrated Celeb Ride Show, Thicky Sandra recounted her early experiences behind the wheel. Remarkably, she revealed that she initiated her driving journey at the tender age of six, navigating the confines of their expansive family estate.

Her automotive journey took a significant turn at the age of eight when her father, Mike Sonko, gifted her first car. The motivation behind this extravagant gift was her burgeoning passion for racing, setting her apart from her peers as a young car enthusiast.

At the age of 20, Thicky Sandra now boasts ownership of an impressive fleet comprising two Range Rovers, a Mercedes Benz, and a Convertible. Additionally, she disclosed ownership of an LX570 valued at Ksh.22 million. However, she admitted to seldom driving it due to the challenges posed by her height.

In the interview, Sandra was candid about her preferences when it comes to companions in her luxury vehicles. She expressed an aversion to individuals exhibiting “ratchet” behavior, a term in Kenya synonymous with those displaying ghetto tendencies.

Thicky Sandra elaborated on her social circle, emphasizing her inclination towards associating with affluent friends who hail from prosperous families. She clarified that she exclusively mingles with individuals who share a similar privileged background and shuns associations with those displaying undesirable behaviors.

Delving into financial matters, Sandra asserted that she always ensures to carry a substantial amount of money for her needs. For instance, when embarking on a road trip to Mombasa, she carries a noteworthy sum of Ksh.200,000. She acknowledged that her financial comfort zone lies above Ksh.10,000, marking the point at which she considers herself financially strained. However, she affirmed that experiencing complete financial lack is a scenario she has yet to encounter.
