Ghanaian comic actor and television presenter, Akrobeto, recently disclosed the reason behind his divorce, citing an incident where his wife slapped him, leading to their separation. The actor, who tied the knot in 2016, shared this revelation while commending Vice President Bawumia and his wife, Samira, for reaching the milestone of 20 years of marriage.
Expressing admiration for the Bawumias’ enduring marriage, Akrobeto acknowledged the challenges that come with matrimony, emphasizing the importance of understanding and forgiveness. He marveled at the couple’s successful two-decade union, highlighting that they looked much younger than their years of marriage would suggest.
In the course of his commentary, Akrobeto reflected on his own marital experience, recounting the events that led to the dissolution of his marriage. He recounted, “I married my wife in 2006. I did not divorce my wife until recently when she slapped me and I fell.”
The actor concluded his remarks by candidly admitting his apprehension towards the institution of marriage, confessing, “I am afraid of marriage now.” This revelation serves as a personal reflection on the challenges and complexities individuals may encounter within the context of marital relationships.
