Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai has stirred social media after boldly claiming to be among the best mathematicians in Kenya.
Speaking proudly about his academic past, Alai revealed that he scored an impressive A- (minus) in Mathematics while studying at a village secondary school known as Lela. He went on to suggest that his intelligence was so exceptional that, had he studied at a top national school like Alliance, he would have ended up teaching the teachers.
“I am on the list of the best Kenyan mathematicians. I scored A- (minus) in a village secondary school called Lela. If I was at Alliance, I would have taught the teacher,” Alai stated confidently.
The outspoken MCA’s remarks sparked mixed reactions online, with some Kenyans praising his confidence and humble academic background, while others took his statement humorously, saying it was typical of Alai’s bold personality.
Robert Alai, known for his fiery opinions and unapologetic tone both online and in politics, has never shied away from controversial statements. His latest declaration adds to his long list of memorable quotes, reflecting both pride in his rural upbringing and his unrelenting self-belief.
