A photo depicting a hardworking truck driver engaged in meal preparation during his journey has stirred emotions among Kenyans on social media.
The image captured the driver, dressed in shorts and a T-shirt, skillfully cooking within a cleverly designed mobile kitchen located behind his truck. This mobile kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with a variety of food items and essential equipment, including a gas cylinder.
Evidently relishing the culinary task at hand, the driver was accompanied by fire extinguisher cylinders as a safety precaution in case of emergencies.
In response to the photograph, Kenyans showered the driver with accolades for his remarkable culinary abilities. Particularly, Kenyan women couldn’t contain their admiration, and some playfully complimented him with affectionate words.
“I wish he were mine; if he cooks like that, he must certainly know his way around the kitchen,” remarked Anite Mukei.
“Allow me to indulge in this delightful sight. If I were to find someone like him, I’d shower him with affection,” expressed Shikoh.
“Where can I find someone like him? This is sheer happiness,” mused Pet Nyambu.
“This man wouldn’t even think of cheating; I’ve taken a liking to him for free,” praised Lydia Koome.
A spectrum of reactions emerged among other Kenyans, with some attributing his actions to the challenges posed by challenging economic times.
“Long-distance truck drivers possess effective resourcefulness. In fact, this approach is not only economical, it also safeguards his truck—a gesture made for the sake of his family. May blessings abound for him.”
“This gentleman spends only 200/- per day, thus saving a substantial 1800 daily. He’s truly a wise individual,” commended another individual.
