Hii imeenda “I Have Infected 273  plus Students With HIV na bado Sijaacha”, Maseno University girl Confesses

‎A shocking confession allegedly made by a female student from Maseno University has stirred nationwide outrage and concern. In a viral statement making rounds on social media, the student claims to have intentionally infected over 273 male students with HIV, stating, “I have infected 273+ students with HIV, and I haven’t stopped.” While the authenticity of the confession is yet to be verified by authorities, the message has already sparked alarm and widespread condemnation.

‎The incident, if true, highlights a serious public health crisis and raises critical questions about sexual responsibility, awareness, and mental health among students. It underscores the urgent need for institutions of higher learning to strengthen HIV education, promote safe sex practices, and offer better counseling services. It also calls attention to the importance of voluntary testing and open conversations about sexual health in campus environments where risky behavior may go unchecked.

‎Furthermore, the confession could have serious legal consequences. Knowingly transmitting HIV is a criminal offense under Kenyan law, and if the claim is found to be true, it could lead to prosecution. Regardless of the motive behind the statement—whether it’s factual, exaggerated, or a cry for help—the situation reflects a deeper social problem that requires both institutional response and public awareness to prevent further harm.
