“He Stabbed Me and Left Me to Die” Woman Survives 6-Hour Surgery After Brutal Attack by Husband

Woman from Nakuru County has bravely shared her harrowing experience of surviving a violent relationship that nearly cost her life.

Caroline Karambu, a young mother, opened up about enduring abuse at the hands of a man she once trusted, an ordeal that led to a six-hour operation after a near-fatal stabbing.

Karambu, who now lives in constant fear, says the abuse didn’t end with the breakup.

The man continued to stalk her, posting demeaning comments online and monitoring her movements.

In a bid to protect her peace and mental well-being, she deleted all her social media accounts except WhatsApp and YouTube, where she now limits her presence.

Her relationship reportedly began to deteriorate after the birth of their child.

Karambu describes emotional torment, manipulation, and even efforts by her former partner to turn their child against him

Despite moving out, the threats and harassment persisted.

The turning point came when she was brutally attacked and rushed to hospital with internal injuries.

She underwent emergency surgery that lasted six hours as doctors worked to remove clotted blood and save her life.

Today, Karambu is focused on recovery and raising her child.

While the emotional and physical scars remain, she draws strength from motherhood and the hope of a safer future.

As her case gains attention, many Kenyans have expressed support, calling for justice and greater protection for victims of domestic abuse.
