Content creator Carrol Sonie recently opened up about the emotional challenges of raising her daughter, Keilah, who strikingly resembles her estranged partner, Mulamwah. In a candid Question and Answer session on YouTube, a fan inquired about the difficulties of single-handedly raising Keilah.
Sonie revealed that she has never engaged in co-parenting with Mulamwah and that the primary support she receives is from her parents. The pain she experiences becomes evident when she gazes at Keilah’s face and recognizes the resemblance to her father, who denied and neglected their child.
Expressing her anguish, Sonie shared, “I don’t know if it hurts or what, but imagine raising a child who has been rejected, and on top of that, she looks like her father? What do you do? You keep moving forward anyway.”
Despite the challenges, Sonie disclosed that she has re-entered the dating scene and has found a supportive partner. She teased her fans by mentioning that when she eventually reveals her new partner, it will create a significant impact, emphasizing that she has distanced herself from Mulamwah, who denied being Keilah’s father.
“My partner prefers staying away from the camera, but let me tell you, the day I decide to introduce him, the world will stop, regardless of what people are saying about introductions and ceremonies. Ours will bring the world to a standstill.”
Additionally, Sonie shared that she has removed Mulamwah’s name from her daughter’s full name. Keilah is now known as Keila Khoe Wangui Muthoni.
The couple has been entangled in a contentious child support dispute since their daughter’s birth in September 2021.
