It appears that in Kenya, only a handful of renowned musicians are able to maintain a luxurious lifestyle. Over time, many of them face financial difficulties. A well-known rapper named Collo surprised the people of Kenya when he was observed working as a Matatu Conductor on a Nairobi bus.
Collo was among the most prominent musicians in Kenya during the 2000s. He was a member of the famous Kleptomaniax music group along with Nyashinski. The group captivated audiences with hits like “Swing Swing Mziki ni Bamba” and “Tuendele.”
Although the group was initially thriving, they eventually disbanded and each member pursued individual projects. Nyashinski even went as far as working as a truck driver in the USA before making a successful comeback in the music industry.
For Collo, however, things took an unexpected turn. As the popularity of old-school music declined in Kenya, making a comeback became an immense challenge for him.
In a recent viral video on social media, many Kenyans expressed shock at seeing the music legend Collo working as a Matatu Tout.
Numerous individuals found this hard to believe, considering his previous stature. It was anticipated that he would be leading a lavish lifestyle akin to other legends such as Nameless, Nyashinski, and Wyre.
