Former NTV news anchor, Mark Masai, has secured a new role two months after being let go by the Nation Media Group. He has been appointed as the Director of Public Relations and Communications for Professional Marketing Services (PMS Group), a PR and Marketing agency.
In a statement released on February 10, PMS Group announced that Mark would be heading its public relations and corporate communication department. The CEO, Joanne Mwangi, expressed confidence in Mark’s ability to shape the company’s communication strategies and promote its brand image in the Africa PR landscape.
“We are committed to disrupting Africa’s PR and Communication market one country at a time and Mark’s appointment manifests this commitment,” stated Mwangi.
Mark expressed excitement about his new role, stating that communication is his first language and he has a talent for speaking to an audience with a desired outcome. He is ready to close deals and grow brands for the firm.
Mark had served at the Nation Media Group for 14 years before being laid off on December 1, 2022.
