Content creator Mungai Eve asserts that she would rather face the prospect of death than opt for traditional employment. During an appearance on NTV’s Weekend Edition with Dr. Kingori, the 21-year-old emphasized her refusal to pursue employment, believing that it goes against her intrinsic calling.
Mungai explained that she values her self-worth and has a multitude of goals that she fears she might never achieve if she were to succumb to the conventional employment path. She conveyed to Dr. Kingori, “First and foremost, I recognize my own value. Secondly, I have numerous aspirations, some of which I fear I might not live long enough to accomplish. Employment is simply not my destiny!”
Interestingly, the acclaimed YouTuber revealed that her childhood dreams contradicted her current stance. “Growing up, I envisioned completing high school, entering university, securing a job at NTV, and becoming a news anchor,” she shared.
However, Mungai’s dream took an unexpected turn when she had to abandon college due to the impact of COVID-19. In previous interviews with other hosts, she openly disclosed that financial constraints forced her to drop out, as her father could no longer afford her tuition fees.
Despite this setback, Mungai found success in the realm of content creation. Boasting an extensive following on her social media platforms, she has accumulated over 450,000 YouTube subscribers and 335,000 Instagram followers.
Known for showcasing her opulent lifestyle on her accounts, Mungai has become an inspiration for many young people. In a recent interview, she revealed that the idea for her YouTube channel was conceived by her boyfriend. Expressing gratitude, she posted on her Instagram page, “My greatest blessing ❤️❤️ thanks babe for always believing in me and being my number one fan. I am truly blessed to have you @director_trevor.”
Mungai also shared details about her initial earnings from the video platform, which amounted to Sh100,000. However, she faced delays in accessing the money due to security protocols. Highlighting the fluctuating nature of YouTube revenue, she noted, “The more views you get, the more the revenue increases. What I earn this month may not be the same amount next month.”
