Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi recently announced his plans to hold an auction for three of his shoes in order to raise funds to support musician Stivo Simple Boy. During an interview, Eric revealed that the auction is scheduled to take place on July 3.
On Thursday, as Eric was heading to Tanzania for a show, he was spotted wearing a pair of enormous white shoes. He stated, “I will be selling these shoes at an auction next week on Monday, and all the proceeds will go to Stivo Simple Boy.”
These three pairs of shoes, which Eric named during the interview, are highly sought after by his fans and social media followers.
Eric’s decision to support Stivo Simple Boy came after he visited the rapper at his home and learned about his struggles. Stivo had fallen out with his management and openly expressed his hardship, mentioning that he was even going hungry.

This development follows the recent termination of Stivo’s contract with Men in Business (MIB). In a statement shared by MIB, they informed the musician that his contract was terminated and provided him with a 35-day window to respond and cooperate during the transition period.
According to the statement, “The termination of the contract will be effective as of July 31, allowing us 35 days to discuss both parties’ interests for a smooth transition. Throughout this process, all parties will be temporarily paused, and a lawful sequence of events will be followed accordingly.”
