Kenyan comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi is overjoyed after the woman whose medical bills he helped clear was officially discharged from hospital and declared out of danger.
Sharing the exciting news with his fans, Eric revealed that doctors had confirmed she was now on her way to full recovery. “Hey guys… Quick Update, the doctors discharged our mum today. Mum is officially out of danger and officially on her way to recovery,” he wrote.
Eric went on to announce that he had secured a comfortable apartment for the woman and her children as they begin plans to build her dream home. In addition, he assured that her children’s education is fully catered for through an Education Trust Fund.
The comedian expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kenyans for their generosity, revealing that contributions had reached an impressive KSh 11.5 million through the fundraiser’s Paybill number. “Mungu awabariki sanaaa. PAYBIL YETU ILIFIKA 11.5 MILLION. TEAM SISI KWA SISI May God visit each and everyone of you personally. GOD BLESS,” he added.
Eric’s touching gesture has once again earned him praise as one of the most consistent public figures in championing humanitarian causes in Kenya.
