Brand Finance, the world-renowned brand valuation consultancy, has crowned Equity Bank as Kenya’s most valuable company, a testament to its strategic expansions both regionally and locally.

Despite facing formidable economic challenges, Equity Bank has managed to sustain its brand value, registering a modest 1 percent increase to reach a staggering Sh65.8 billion, as per the latest data from Brand Finance.

In a statement, Equity Bank expressed its pride in once again securing the title of Kenya’s most valuable brand, underscoring its resilience and robust growth in the face of adversity. This achievement solidifies Equity Bank’s position as a frontrunner in the Kenyan financial sector.

Moreover, the report highlights the remarkable ascent of CIC Insurance Group, emerging as the fastest-growing brand in Kenya. With an impressive 63 percent surge in brand value, totaling Sh1.9 billion, CIC Insurance Group attributes this growth to its enhanced Brand Strength Index score of 82.98.

The report further unveils notable growth trajectories for other key players in the Kenyan market. NCBA, Centum Investment Company, and Kenya Airways (KQ) have all demonstrated substantial growth, with increases of 44 percent to Kes 19.7 billion, 36 percent to Kes 713.8 million, and 38 percent to Kes 6.4 billion, respectively.
