Notably absent in the photos shared on social media was Ivanna’s father, Dennis Okari.
Throughout Ivanna’s previous birthday parties, Okari has often been missing. However, he did attend his daughter’s sixth birthday celebration in June 2020.
Okari and Betty dated for approximately six years and were blessed with their daughter, Ivanna, before they eventually got married.
Shortly after Ivanna’s birth, they decided to tie the knot and exchanged vows in a vibrant wedding held on October 2, 2015.
However, Betty and Okari went their separate ways merely six months after their wedding, with reports indicating that infidelity was the cause of their breakup.
Betty engaged in an affair with Hassan Joho, which led to her divorce from Okari when he discovered the betrayal.
Following the collapse of her marriage around April 2016, Betty entered into a serious relationship with Joho while Okari also moved on.
Okari found love again and remarried in February 2019. He exchanged vows with Joy Naomi in an intimate, invite-only ceremony held at a location on Kiambu Road.
Despite their failed marriage, Betty and Okari have been committed to co-parenting since their relationship reached its breaking point.
