One of Kenya’s most renowned comedians, Crazy Kennar, has recently shared insights into his unique lifestyle, balancing life between Kenya and South Africa.
In 2023, Kennar made the move to South Africa to further his studies in scriptwriting at a local university, despite already being a celebrated content creator in Kenya with a degree from Jomo Kenyatta University. He disclosed that he now divides his time between the two countries, adapting well to this dual lifestyle without missing Kenya too much.
Kennar explained that he spends weekdays in South Africa attending physical classes, while weekends are dedicated to flying back to Kenya. During these trips, he focuses on creating content and spending time with family and friends.
Currently, Kennar’s frequent mode of transportation is by airplane, as he is often in the air balancing his academic pursuits with his creative work. He finds joy in this arrangement, as it allows him to continue producing content while pursuing his dreams. One of his major aspirations is to win an Oscar, aiming to reach the same level of success as notable figures like Lupita Nyong’o.
