Citizen TV’s Hassan Mugambi Marries Mwanaidi Shishi – With Pictures

Hassan Mugambi, a prominent anchor at Citizen TV, recently celebrated his marriage in a beautiful Islamic ceremony. The distinguished investigative reporter looked resplendent in traditional Islamic wedding attire, donning a navy blue kanzu and a matching headwrap.

His spouse, Mwanaidi, formerly a video vixen, now manages a restaurant named Mama Nilishe in Kilimani, renowned for its mouthwatering Swahili cuisine.

During the joyous occasion, Mugambi was accompanied by his colleagues, including the esteemed Swahili anchor Rashid Abdalla and the promising political journalist Ayub Abdikadir. The wedding was graced by the presence of Sylvanos Osoro, the member of parliament representing South Mugirango.

Mugambi’s journey in the media industry began at Pamoja FM, a community-based radio station situated in Kibera, where he polished his command of the Swahili language. After being recruited by K24, a station owned by Mediamax, he later transitioned to Citizen TV in 2017.

In 2019, Mugambi achieved a significant milestone when he was awarded the Outstanding Media Security Investigative Award. This esteemed recognition was presented to him by the Protective and Safety Association of Kenya (PROSAK) in appreciation of his exceptional and unwavering coverage of security issues within the country.

Continuing his remarkable career, Mugambi’s dedication and expertise were once again acknowledged in 2023 when he received the Security and Crime Reporter of the Year 2023 award at the Nairobi Security Expo.
