Bradley Marongo, famously known as the Gen Z Goliath, is a living testament to the saying, “There is always light at the end of every tunnel.” Born and raised in a humble background in Majengo, Vihiga County, Bradley’s journey from obscurity to fame is nothing short of inspirational.
After completing his high school education, life took a tough turn for Marongo. With limited opportunities, he found himself forced into the hustle of street life. He began working as a Matatu tout, plying the routes from Majengo to Luanda, then Majengo to Kakamega, and later from Luanda to Kisumu. The hustle was real, and life was far from kind.
Seeking a better life, Bradley made a bold move to Nairobi in search of greener pastures. With no relatives or connections in the city, he endured unimaginable hardships—sleeping in buses and occasionally in the streets alongside street children. He continued hustling as a tout at Country Bus, clinging to hope for a breakthrough.
That breakthrough came unexpectedly during the Gen Z protests. Bradley’s towering physique and striking presence caught the attention of many. His photos went viral, and soon he was trending across all major social media platforms. Just like that, the Gen Z Goliath was born—a symbol of strength, resilience, and hope.
With fame came opportunities. Bradley’s massive online following attracted brands and big names. He transformed from a street hustler to a millionaire influencer. One of his biggest milestones was a trip to Dubai, where he reportedly received Ksh. 5 million. Back home in Kenya, he secured a multimillion-shilling deal with a renowned car company, which gifted him a Range Rover worth Ksh. 20 million to help promote their brand.
Today, Bradley Marongo stands tall—not just in size, but as a beacon of hope for every young hustler dreaming of a better life. His story is proof that no matter how dark the tunnel, there is always light at the end.
