Former Kakamega Senator, Boni Khalwale has declared an interest in vying for the county’s Gubernatorial seat.
Khalwale will be going head to head with Cleophas Malala who will be running under Amani National Congress (ANC).
Khalwale who is a key allie to Deputy President William Ruto was invited to the Orange Democratic Movement Party offices and got endorsed to run for Kakamega County top seat.
ODM allied leaders stated that they will fully back Khalwale for his great vision for the county unlike his counterpart, Malalla who is just full of himself.
The support of UDA and ODM will see Khalwale clentch the seat easily since it’s one of the major boost a politician could ask for, to get support from two rival parties.
