Awinja Dismisses Claims Of “Mubaba” Buying Her Ksh 3 Million Jeep Wrangler

Jacky Vike, popularly recognized as Awinja, pleasantly surprised her fans by unveiling her latest acquisition—a brand-new white Jeep Wrangler valued at Ksh 3 million.

The humorous comedian opted for a grand reveal of her newly obtained American machine, taking the Jeep to an expansive plantation for an elaborate photoshoot. In the captivating images, Awinja adorned an orange outfit while holding a bouquet of flowers, creating a visually stunning contrast with the luxurious vehicle against the backdrop of the lush green plantation.

In response to Awinja’s purchase, fellow comedian Butita amusingly suggested that he already knew the lavish vehicle was a gift from a sponsor. He humorously added that if he ever gets married, he plans to gather all the expensive vehicles owned by Kenyan celebrities for a spectacular event somewhere in the country.

Eddie Butita jokingly remarked, “Yani umebuy Jeep bila mubaba manze? Ehh, unani inspire yani,” after Awinja mentioned that she bought the Jeep herself. However, Awinja downplayed Butita’s assumption, asserting that her “mubaba” (sponsor) was none other than God. She responded, “Nkona na mubaba anaitwa sir God.”

In a video captioned with appreciation for Awinja confirming the ownership of the Jeep, Butita playfully shared his plans for the future, stating, “Ile siku nitaoa nitachukua gari zote za wasanii tukauze uoga kijiji flani hii Kenya.” Awinja, in good spirits, replied to him, saying, “Wewe tu ndio Mluhya umebeba EMBODOKA!!!”

Awinja’s success serves as a testament to the changing landscape of digital marketing in Kenya. With companies increasingly turning to celebrities and influencers to tap into their vast following on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, Awinja has become a sought-after figure for brand collaborations with local Kenyan companies.

Some noteworthy partnerships in Awinja’s portfolio include collaborations with Naivas Supermarket, East Africa Breweries, Jibu, Exe Unga, and various other brands.
