A resident of Nyeri County in the Mjengo area recently filed for divorce from her newly-wedded husband, citing an unusual reason – the size of his manhood. According to local reports, the housewife and mother of three sought the dissolution of her marriage due to her husband’s disproportionately large genitalia, known as MJULUS.
Their divorce was swiftly granted after just one week of marriage in a legal court, as per Kenyan law, which recognizes them as legally married. The woman explained that she had entered into this marriage after her previous one ended.
In adherence to local customs, the bride moved into her husband’s parents’ house before settling into their own home. However, it was only during their first intimate encounter that she began experiencing distress.
Expressing her discomfort in court, she stated, “It’s strange; I can no longer enjoy being with him. His MJULUS is unbearable; it’s too big for me. I can’t continue with this anymore.” The court granted the divorce, providing relief to both parties.
After their initial intimate encounter, she sought advice from her mother, who recommended enduring the situation, assuring her that with time, she would adjust. The mother also provided her with medication. Despite their attempts to make the marriage work, the woman asserted that the pain was too much to bear, leading them to mutually decide to end their union.
Interestingly, the husband did not deny the accusation. Instead, he mentioned that they had both agreed to dissolve the marriage, on the condition that his dowry and the money spent during the courtship were repaid in full, without any delays.
