Muranga Governor and presidential aspirant Mwangi wa Iria is currently involved in a confrontation with the police manning Bomas of Kenya buildings where presidential candidates are appearing before the IEBC.
Wa Iria who is running for the presidency under the Usawa Party last night decried of a plan to have him removed from the presidential race. The muranga leader stated that powerful forces have been deployed to the IEBC to have his name removed from the presidential ticket.
This morning, Wa Iria has arrived at the Bomas of Kenya accompanied by his troops ready to face the IEBC Leaders. However, his plans have been thwarted after police officers denied him entrance in the facility leading to a confrontation.
In a video shared by one of the local publishers, the county boss is heard confronting the police men telling them to even call the military including the Kenya Navy as he will not back down.
Wa Iria is further heard asking the police who they think they are to scare him with guns. He further says that he will not move from the entrance until Chebukati addresses him.
