Akothee delivered a stern warning to journalists and bloggers who associated her with her former Swiss husband, Denis Schweizer, also known as Omondi/Omosh. In a live session on her Facebook account on October 17, 2023, the mother of five made it clear that she would take legal action against those who tried to link her with Omosh.
The fearless musician stood up to her critics, firmly stating her intention to pursue defamation of character charges against anyone who falsely connected her with the Swiss individual. Akothee emphasized, “If you dare to call me Schweizer, I will take you to court for defamation of character.”
During the live session, Akothee addressed numerous inquiries about Omondi from her followers. In addition, she referred to Nelly Oaks as her “babe,” which raised concerns among some of her fans.
In response to these concerns, she explained, “I have no other name to call him (Nelly Oaks). How you choose to interpret it is none of my concern. There are certain qualities I admire in this man, and I have communicated this to him. I told him, ‘Just know that even if we never get married, inform your wife that there is a woman named Akothee who will always be a part of your life,'” Akothee said.
Akothee also went on to describe Nelly Oaks as a wealthy man with significant assets.
