Angry Gladys Wanga-Gachagua wacha ujinga, wacha upuuzi, takataka wewe! Ongelea chama yako ya kijiji. Hata uishi miaka mia moja hakuna siku utakuwa na chama kama ODM!

Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga has sharply responded to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in a fiery defense of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Speaking during a public event, Wanga did not hold back, telling Gachagua to stop what she termed as “nonsense” and focus on building his own party instead of attacking ODM. She insisted that ODM is too strong and too established to be shaken by political criticism.

Wanga further declared that no one can buy or compromise ODM, describing it as a powerful political movement with deep roots across the country. According to her, even if Gachagua were to live for a hundred years, he would never build a party that matches the influence and structure of ODM.

Her remarks come amid growing political tensions and exchanges between leaders aligned to President William Ruto and those in the opposition. With realignments already taking shape ahead of the 2027 General Election, party loyalty and strength have become central themes in national debate.

Supporters of ODM have praised Wanga for standing firm and defending the party’s legacy, while critics argue that such confrontational language fuels political hostility.

As Kenya’s political landscape continues to shift, it is clear that the rivalry between major players remains as intense as ever, with party supremacy and influence at the heart of the contest.
